Subject:
- Let God be first in our lives.
- The church is supposed to be the salt in our nation to hold back corruption.
- When you put God first, you ask Him to be your point man, you fall in behind Him, you follow Him, you trust Him.
- We’re in a war, follow His orders and go.
- We were created to please Him, we weren’t created for Him to please us.
- If we diminish ourselves and seek Him to bless us, that’s a proper relationship.
- If you’re not looking at Jesus, what He has done and is able to do, where is the fruit of it?
- You can be anything the Lord would have you do or be.
- God did not call you to fail, He called you to succeed in Him and what He has for you to do.
- Line yourself up on Him and what He would have you do, there is no greater joy than doing that which He would have you do. The things that you want to do become the things He wants you to do. His things become your desire.
- The nature of man is to be seen doing things that make them look good. That is the wisdom of man. The foolishness of the gospel is it’s not about you and what you can do. Everything you can do is death and destruction, everything you can do is death. It’s about what Jesus did.
- If you’re seeking Him first, and His righteousness then all the other stuff added unto you is not about you it’s about Him.
- You cannot know how good He is until you start operating in that principle.
