Subject:
- The things that are required of us we can do, not in the flesh, but when we choose to be in Christ Jesus (to hold to His Word and believe Him for it) when it’s about ministering His love we can do those things that are required. With Christ it is not impossible.
- When it’s not about us, but about Jesus Christ and what He can do, all the things will line right up, those things become something you can do.
- If we’re going to be a solider of Jesus Christ we have to absolutely be hardened, calloused toward the flesh and what it wants and be listening to the spirit.
- The battle comes across your doorstep at any time and you have to be prepared to put it down, be ready for it.
- If we’re going to be a solider who pleases Him we need to put this old, nasty man down all the time.
- Who are you going to serve? The Lord, Jesus Christ and the new man or the kingdom of satan, which is really just feeding your flesh and what it wants? There are two sides, one’s selfish and one’s selfless.
- Jesus’ hand is out to you and all the others. He laid down His life so that we may have life.
- To serve Him we must lay down our life.
- We need to show people His love, His kingdom. The only way to be a branch that brings forth His fruit is by abiding in Him. By abiding in Him, we lay down our lives.
- All of His promises are true, His word is true, we’re the problem. Are we going to make that choice to lay our life down?
- Have you sold out to what He would have you do? To be about His business?
- The Lord’s not slack concerning His promise; we’re slack in receiving it.
- If we’re not grabbing onto the one, we’re grabbing onto the other.
- The devil and his angels are already defeated but he’s trying to drag anyone he can with him. We ought to be sowing the seed to bring people to the kingdom of God, where there’s true life and peace with Him.
- When we take on that old nasty man we are denying Christ.
- The Lord remains true whether we believe Him or not. Our lack of belief doesn’t change anything about Him.
- There is no greater joy then to be operating in the Lord.
- All those great and exceeding promises are ours in Him, they are not yours any other way. You have all His great promises when you choose to do His thing.
- If you’re dead, what’s it to you? Are you dead? Did you put the old man to death? If it has to happen every morning for you, then make it happen every morning.
- If you’re proving by the things you say, the way you love, the things you do, what is the perfect will of God then you’re not denying Him. You can’t do that until you make the choice to set your affections on wanting His things, His will and not yours. You put off your will, and you are pleased to serve Him.
- If you want to know the perfect will of God, you can find that out (it’s all available in the word of God).
- What your life is like, shows what you believe. You don’t have to say a word. What you do shows it all, esp if what you do doesn’t match what you say.
- Not making a choice is making a choice. It’s the choice to serve the enemy.
- The Word is serious, is true and you need to agree with it. It’s up to you to set your affections on things that are above.
- When it pleases you to please Him and that’s what you live for, stuff is going to change.
