TFM-TexasSpeakers:

  • Richard D. Eutsler, Sr
  • Steven Atherton
  • Bob Hicks
  • Scott Bishop

Scriptures Used:

  • James 4:1-10
  • 2 Timothy 1:7
  • 1 John 4:4
  • James 1:2

Subject:

  • You can bring yourself down when you judge yourself and more so when you judge another.
  • We have got to learn to disregard the old man’s ways and walk in the new man.
  • We do not have to care what the devil is going to do.
  • Jesus said it.  Believe it.  That is the end of it.
  • It is not faith if you have to wrap your head around it.
  • Lifting up your soul to the Lord means you lift it up to be examined, and that may mean you receive correction or a change of direction and that does not come naturally to us.
  • Doing wrong takes no effort at all;  but doing that which is right, by contrast seems to escape us.
  • Lifting up your soul to the Lord opens up the door of your heart to receive that which you need from the Lord.
  • How much do you shrink back from saying the truth because those in the world thinks it is idiocy.
  • When you fall into diverse temptation, rejoice because your faith is being strengthened in God’s Word, in His ability, in His power:  in the power of the blood to forgive, in the power of the grace to cover, in the power of His mercy to pull you through and that is what you stand on.
