TFM-TexasSpeakers:

  • Richard D. Eutsler, Sr
  • Scott Bishop
  • Bob Hicks

Scriptures Used:

  • Proverbs 3:5
  • Proverbs 13:4
  • Acts 5:1

Subject:

  • How good and perfect that sacrifice on the cross was to save an idiot like me.
  • He looks out at the church and sees people all around Him who never seem to reap the benefits of salvation.
  • If I ask Him a thing to serve Him better, I think He’d jump on it.
  • God does not have to report to us; we report to him.
  • Sometimes Christians become sluggards in the spirit. You desire healing but you don’t get it;   you desire financial needs met but you don’t get them; you desire a move in the Lord in you life but it doesn’t seem to happen. Could it be you become a sluggard in the spirit?
  • How do you recharge your spiritual batteries? By praising and worship and getting alone with God; put everything aside and get into Jesus.
  • Slothful man or woman will beg and plead by they don’t get on it and stay on it.
  • Sometimes you have to try your faith by proving God’s word and BELIEVING IT no matter what happens.
  • Brother Davy wants us to have a greater experience with the Lord, then he has ever had.
  • If you’re a sluggard in the natural life you will be a sluggard in the spiritual life.
  • It takes diligence to start those batteries back up.
  • If you’re going to be diligent in the Spirit than that’s the sort of thing you are gong to see as written in Acts Chapter 5.
  • Ananias and Sapphira did not completely believe because they held back some reserve just in case things didn’t work out.
  • Many people today are acting the same way.
  • If we want new life in Jesus Christ, our life has to go away.
  • In Mathew and in Luke, it tells the signs of times.
  • Jesus has given us His word, his manual and unless you don’t read his word and study his word, you are not going to know what is going on.
  • If you are full of doubt and fear, then you are not believing in Jesus Christ and the words he gave us.
  • Be diligent about getting into the Word of God.
