Subject:
- New Christians have a zeal, an excitement and a hunger to get to know God. They want to go and tell everybody that Jesus Christ is King. Then they feel alone but need to remember they are not alone because Jesus promises that if we give our heart to Him, He will always be there with.
- Why is it that they lose that fire?
- Would you like to be one of those seeds that has a good heart, that has good soil for the seed to bring forth fruit? Look close and see what the state of your heart is. Do you desire to be faithful and want to serve God?
- Put all aside and look only to God where all of your desires should be. Have you grown complacent, become lukewarm?
- There is danger in not being on fire for the Lord. If you are lukewarm you must change and move forward, you are in great danger. The Lord calls us to be ministers of fire, take heed and run to Jesus.
- Be ready in season and out of season, in health, in pain or discomfort regardless of feelings.
- We come from the earth, Adam was made from the dust. We can’t seem to get right to understand that the cursed is cursed, so we try to go around and undo that by putting fig leaves on.
- We try to justify ourselves to try to make ourselves look better and sometimes people go to church for that reason.
- Jesus said to His disciples: “who do men say that I am?” – a great prophet, a great teacher – and Simon Peter jumped up and said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”
- The only reason to go to church is for the revelation of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and He is our Saviour.
- Jesus said unless you eat of my flesh and drink of my blood ye shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The people could not understand the symbolism. Jesus gave His body for us, He gave His blood for us, not for us individually but for us corporately as His creation.
- God so loved His creation that He had it cursed because of sin. He so loved it that He gave Himself for it. And whosoever would believe should not perish but have everlasting life.
- It’s through that knowledge and that revelation that God gives us that we can believe.
- Peter said: ”where will we go? You’re the only one that has the words of salvation.”
- You don’t come to the Lord by the church or by race or by family tree or by association. You come to the Father by Jesus and only by Jesus will you get the truth.
- The only reason we should be here is to know the truth. The truth sets you free. The churches have forsaken the truth and lost what God had given them.
- Take heed, beware of the leaven of Herod, and of the leaven of the Pharisees. The leaven of Herod is the lies and deceit the government pushes and the leaven of the Pharisees is the lies and deceit the churches preach, the false preachers.
- We’re under bondage not only to the government that lies to us and preachers that lie to us but we’re under bondage to sin and death.
- If we put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ and shed ourselves of our own righteousness that we may be righteous in Him then we’re free, free to live in the knowledge of the power of God in our lives and we are free to be in season and out of season because we serve one who is greater than we are and when we serve someone greater than we are it’s all about Him not about us.
- Go forth and walk in that joy God gives us. He is our heavenly Father when we accept His Son and we’re born again into His kingdom and His body.
