Subject:

  • Learning – so many things the Lord teaches and shows us.  So many of them pass by and we don’t catch them. There are times we want more, we know it is there but it seems to allude us.
  • We say we know Jesus, claim to be His people yet still have these faults in us, hearing we do not hear, seeing we do not understand.
  • If we are truly His we need to find out why a thing caused the reaction it did in us – pride.   Reflect back to His Word, go back and study the Word.
  • The Word of God is our constant.
  • We need to have our faith strengthened and to know God who designed that the just shall live by faith, and by that faith anyone can have their hearts changed.
  • The food of faith is the Word which comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.   We have to hear, listen and implement it in our lives.
  • Do you see the work of God in your life?   Believe that it actually happened.   With God nothing is impossible, all things are possible with Jesus.
  • We measure God’s power with our unbelief, we say it is too big for Jesus to handle.  God has limitless power and grace if we meet His conditions, if we believe all things are possible.
  • If you desire to do God’s will  He will give it to you.   He meets you where you are if you reach out in simple faith. Don’t wait to feel right or acceptable.  God’s plan isn’t wait till you feel good.   His plan is believe and then you shall see the glory of God.
  • If faith can remove a mountain, it can remove anything.
  • Get rid of that unbelief, forgive and He’ll forgive you.  Bring things to the light and let that precious blood of Christ cleanse you. If you but believe, God will meet you and bring you into his love.
  • It amazes me how people can take the Word and not get it.   Count it all joy when you fall doesn’t mean when you are tempted you count it all joy to have overcome the temptation.
  • Pride is the fountain of sin; all sin comes from pride.   Pride is in the flesh and seeks us to be righteous in the flesh – it constantly draws you back.
  • It is not true that you are to count it all joy because God is trying to show you something so you can become perfect and get it right.  That’s the law that killed you in the first place.   God is not the author of sin but righteousness, love, joy, peace, salvation, grace and mercy and much more.
  • II is when you have fallen in that sin you have to try your faith that God is able  to bring you up, to bring you out and put His grace on you and  His grace is sufficient.
  • People that call themselves Christian go around and can’t heal the sick because they’re looking at their righteousness to heal the sick not God’s righteousness.
  • If you’re looking at yourself and how good you are, you will never do anything in the Lord, you’ll never accomplish a miracle.  You’ll never have the faith that God wants you to have.   Stop trying to make yourself worthy of God, you are not worthy of God, I am not worthy of God .   God loved us and gave His Son to die for us because we couldn’t do it ourselves.   If we could do it ourselves, Christ died for nothing.
  • In this ministry, I want people to get it right and if they can’t get it right or don’t want to get it right, I don’t care who they are, I want them to get out and make room for somebody who will get it right.
  • I heard a guy talking about being told by a minister to do a thing a certain way but even to that moment he knew he was right and then he says the minister was right – can’t both be right.   He missed the whole thing.  Why?   For the same reason the other one got James 1:2 wrong – pride.
  • I tried one time to walk perfect according to the law and couldn’t do it.   I found out later it wasn’t my calling anyway.   My ministry wasn’t to the Jews, or to the Pentecostal holiness people, but to those people that God wants that nobody else wants,  to those  that recognize they can’t get it right, they need help, and when I say “need help” I’m not saying they need help to get it right in the flesh because you’re not going to.
  • Do you think that walking perfect before the Lord you will never say anything wrong, never have an unclean thought – that‘s all dealing with the flesh.
  • To walk perfect in the Lord is to completely without reservation trust God in His Word, and in Jesus Christ in His mission, and the Holy Ghost in His power to accomplish all that God has said He will do in heaven and in earth.   To walk perfect in God is to be one in God in your body, soul and  spirit. Not this fleshly body but that body that is in Christ waiting for you to be one in that body through love, trusting him and loving one another.
  • To be perfect in God is to love God first then take that love God gives you and love each other, that’s to be perfect.
