Subject:

• It’s easy to sing to the Lord and have your mind be on something else.  But when you sing you need to think about what the words are saying.
• Why would you pour out your heart unless you know that He is with you and listening.
• When you pray in accordance with His Word, He is faithful to answer.  When you pray in accordance with your own desires, you will not receive the answer you want.
• There is something to hope for beyond what you can see and experience in this world.
• Hebrews 4 talks of coming boldly before the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace in the time of need.  We don’t come boldly because we think we have the answer, we can come boldly because we know Jesus IS the answer.
• Humble yourself, submit to His Word and He is faithful to answer.
• We become innocent and our sins are washed away when we repent before the Lord.
• Grace is unmerited favor, there is nothing you can do to deserve it, nothing you can do to earn it.
• Hope is having an expectation, confidence and faith.
• None of us look forward to tribulation, it’s anguish, affliction and discomfort.  The patience teaches us to endure through tribulation.
• Our experience is proof that we can do something, so the experience gives us hope and expecting the deliverance.
• We do not need to be ashamed to talk about Jesus, calling Him our Lord, standing up for the things the Lord stands for.
• Stand fast in the hope and the grace that He has given to each of us, don’t let gainsayers stop your mouth in talking about the glory of Jesus Christ.  Don’t be ashamed.
• The world today is the way it is because Christians are ashamed to stand up and speak that which is good.
• With my soul I will obey the law of God, which is to love one another.
• The flesh seeks to serve the law of sin.
• The law of Moses brought death with it.  When Adam ate of the tree of knowledge, death came into the world, but sin was not there until the law of Moses was brought forth.  Then sin became increasingly sinful.
• The law of God is simple … love God and love one another.
• It is only by loving one another that we show Gods love to the world.
• When you love with the love of God self does not enter in, it’s all about the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and pleasing them.  By pleasing them, we have that hope of glory to stand before Him and hope everlasting.
