- Our Lord knows what we need. If we stop doing our own thing, he gives us the things we desire. That life he gives you in return will be so much greater than the life you thought you could have.
- Samuel was surprised that David was the one chosen, David was satisfied and pleased to be with the sheep.
- David saved the sheep from a lion and a bear. He didn’t flee, he saved the sheep and killed the lion and bear. (1 Sam 16)
- Moses preferred to suffer affliction with the children of God. He killed an Egyptian, when it was found out. He went to the land of Midian. 40 years later he was on is way to delivering Israel.
- Paul wanted to serve God. When you want that, the Lord will give you the mighty ability to do that.
- The Lord is a loving father. He will work with us right where we are.
- Believers are lights in the darkness. When one of those lights is out of place, the good shepherd knows it.
- The Gospel is ministered everywhere, even in a movie, for people who have ears to hear.
- Jesus picks us up when we fall, so we can yet believe again. We are the ones that doubt.
