Subject:
- Snow – the physical properties of it that show our Lord.
- Snowflake Bentley, who took photographs of single snowflakes, and notice every one was different. As blinding white as snow is, the very center of it is a speck of dirt.
- We too are all different, even identical twins. We are individual.
- Psalms 51:7: Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
- The Lord is able to wash us and make us whiter than snow, when He forgives our sins, the speck of dirt is gone and washed clean in the blood of the Lamb.
- There is a whiter than snow that only the Lord can do in you and me, He does it completely.
- Steve’s children prayed for lots of snow this year, and Steve agreed with it, as children find snow a fun thing.
- Where 2 or 3 touch and agree on a thing it will come to pass.
- Steve agreed with the prayer for snow and bought a snow blower.
- Are you willing to take God at His word?
- The story of a movie in which there was a lot of turmoil and upheaval in Zambia so a farmer went to South Africa with his vehicle and tractor.
- He was a man of independence and energy but not a man of God.
- God was gracious to him even before he knew Him. Over time He came to a place where he received the Lord.
- The testimony of this man is that he chose to take God at His word. As a consequence of that God did extraordinary and mighty things in his life and the life of others.
- A sabbath as a farmer is an extraordinary act of faith. Everyone went to the church to worship the Lord in a cold church without any heat. Everyone wanted to do this. How much time does this give you to read and study?
- After the man came to the Lord the Lord put a hunger in his heart for the Word. He read the Word in his cornfield while he was working.
- He knew he really needed the Lord. He was touched by a man who shared with him what the Lord had done in his life.
- The story of a Zulu woman raised from the dead.
- Because of his testimony of faith in the Lord, they wanted him to pray for her, and she came back to life with a simple prayer.
- This showed the power of God to the others and they knew what the Lord could do.
- He prayed in hope that God would move and God honored it, and strengthened him in the faith.
- Smith Wigglesworth – couldn’t read – illiterate Welsh plumber – how likely is he to become a man of God?
- But yet he did mighty works of God, by choosing to believe.
- The cloud of witnesses who obtained a good report through faith.
- Joshua had been a slave for the first 45 years of his life. Rahab, a harlot. Samson, Jephthae, all did mighty things because of faith in Him.
- To walk in the Lord’s power and love should be our heart’s desire.
- Are you willing to lay down your life, take God at His Word and let Him perform that which He promises in your life?
- Seek and ye shall find. If you want it you are going to get it. A man does what a man wants to do.
- If that’s what the desire of your heart is, you will be willing to go through what you need to do to get there.
- Because of belief that the power of God is true, Steve has seen his son raised from the dead.
- The Lord wants to work with the situation you’ve got. If you lift up things to Him in faith, He will move.
- It will be a real testimony that people will see and know is true.
