- Romans 12:1
Subject:
- Propitiation means atonement.
- It is the commandment of God – to have love one for another.
- It’s all about love. Jesus died for us out of love. He did what was necessary for us.
- How can we say that we believe Him if we don’t prefer others over ourselves.
- We have to serve others before serving our flesh
- Where is the love in the world? Doing what feels good only draws you away from The Lord.
- Walk as He walked: He walked in love. Jesus served all the time.
- The darkness is past. The light is come into the world. The truth is here with us.
- Let us take the light of Christ and walk forward in that.
- Of: What does it mean to be of someone?
- “Of” Jesus Christ is that new man. The old man will never be of Jesus Christ.
- We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous. Praise God!
- We want to look good to everybody else. It doesn’t have anything to do with God.
- He knows who we are. We are the ones pretending.
- The biggest problem is we believe ourselves in that lie.
- Jesus died for ALL the sins of the world. But the people out there don’t know it. How are people going to know it unless those that do know it manifest it unto them instead of being a liar.
- When you recognize that you’re no better than anyone else, then you can walk even as He walked.
- We can do that in our new man. Our new man came from God.
- Do you really believe? Were you baptized in water? Died in your old man and put on the new man having access to all things of the Kingdom of God? If you believe this, walk in this.
- How do we do that?
- The promise of God is that we can walk as He walked.
- In John 17, if you believe in their word (the apostles) you can be one with God.
- In Philippians Paul said be ye followers of me.
- Paul spent 3 years in the Corinthian church.
- Where are you going to put your faith?
- The mysteries of God are not given to you, they are given to the apostles and prophets.
- You may have received those mysteries from an apostle, prophet or the Holy Spirit, but it all came down because you received an apostle of The Lord.
- Every person here knows that we have heard the mysteries of God like never before. Why don’t we do it then?
- People don’t listen because with our natural man the apostles don’t edify anything.
- The people are being fed poison and love it, in ignorance, because they have no idea what the gospel is really about.
- 1 Cor v. 16: Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
- If you want to learn to walk in Christ, you have to follow those who do.
- Timothy may bring you in remembrance: they have forgotten. Timothy was sent as an example that they could once again follow.
- Rom 12:1. If we’re not doing this we need mercy! It is there for us to receive and go forward.
- Reasonable service: The Lord doesn’t ask more than what is reasonable to Him. Such as fulfilling your role as a husband, father, etc. He provides all of our needs. The living sacrifice is getting rid of the old man.
- Be transformed by the renewing of your mind to prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. If we are doing that and know that He died for all the sins of the world, what is too tall about bringing that message out here to others? We can do that.
