Subject:

  • Walking in the Spirit.
  • (Men’s Bible Study on 1 John)
  • The Fruit of the Spirit
  • If we are in the Lord we are children of light and the fruit of the spirit is love. Agape love
  • When you have the fruit of the Spirit it will prove what is acceptable unto the Lord.
  • We manifest God to whom we do show the attributes of love to. Christ is then manifest.
  • The fruit of the spirit is love all the other things that come after it in I Corinthians 13 are attributes to that love.
  • We can have all the attributes of love which are joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, in Christ by faith.
  • It is only an element of Him in us.
  • The only way to learn it is to step out in faith and receive the correction, rebuke and exhortation, knowing it is all out of love.
  • The Agape love does not pet or make a person feel good, it should coax the person to a place of accountability.
  • The only one that’s great is God.
  • It is our natural tendency is to make people feel good about themselves and build up their self esteem. That is not loving them, it will only send them straight to hell.
  • As we walk in Him by faith and submit unto Him and learn His ways that Agape love, the knowledge of it and obedience to it grows and we can become sharp and the light.
  • Fruit does take time to be perfected. It comes by submitting ourselves to those who the Lord has put over us.
  • The more fully we are in obedience and subjection to our authority, the more fully and quickly we will bare fruit.
  • Every time we fall and repent, then receive the forgiveness and get back up we are portraying the gospel. Those who will have ears to hear will rejoice because that is the hope, not that we can do anything but that God can.
  • Love
  • The love of choice, choosing to love others over ourselves. Whether they may be easily loveable or not.
  • Our own well being is found in love.
  • We need each others love because it exhorts each other out of faltering and it reassures us in the gospel of Christ.
  • We’re not to be of the world but to be in the world so that others may know the salvation of Jesus Christ and make a choice to receive it or reject it.
  • In Christ there is no sin, so in our flesh we are sinners but in Him we are not.
  • We are always going to be saved by grace.
  • The Lord gave us the butterfly to show us salvation.
  • It’s our faith is where we are made perfect.
  • We all were dead, we are all in the same sinful boats. He died for all. We don’t live for ourselves any more we live for Him.
  • We are his servants and does what his master tells him to do.
  • He has exchanged us which were something of no value to something of value.
  • There is no bondage from anything that came before, unless we hold on to our sin.
  • If we desire Him it is everlasting, it never loses it’s newness or tarnishes. That is where we need to be.
  • We need to serve happily in the hope of Christ, our service is serving others through Him.
  • We are ambassadors, we are to show people that they don’t have to be at war with God and when they are not following Him they are at war with God.
