Subject:

  • Keep being filled with the Holy Ghost.
  • The Holy Ghost is the comforter that was sent after Jesus went to heaven.
  • It is a commandment to keep being filled with the Holy Ghost.
  • We continue to this day being baptized with that Holy Ghost with fire and that fire is like a light.
  • It was in obedience to the Holy Spirit that Jesus walked and it is should be the same with us. The Holy Spirit is to be heard and submitted to in the exact same manner, He is the Spirit of that brings the word of God.
  • He has got the perfect words, we ought to take advantage of it.
  • The Holy Spirit gives us that boldness to step out and witness. There definitely was a big difference in Peter after he was baptized in the Holy Spirit.
  • It is the Lord that draws us to him. Everything about our salvation is the Lord drawing us to him.
  • The father of Jesus is the Holy Ghost.
  • Being able to witness without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, an example is the Gaderene demoniac who had a great witness.
  • We know there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit and we need to avail ourselves to it. Pray in tongues to strengthen us in it and to walk in the Spirit of God.
  • Speaking about not being drunk with wine, if you go to it to fix a solution. We are supposed to be aware, alert and watchful and drinking is something we do in the flesh not in the spirit. We serve a master that there is hope for us and solutions for all things in Him.
  • Excess meaning more than moderate, more than is right or appropriate. Being drunk with wine feeds the flesh, being drunk with the spirit is feeding the spirit.
  • The Holy Spirit is our comforter. We can do all things through Him. We need to strive to feed the spirit and not the flesh.
  • The joy of the Lord is the satisfying thing to go after. When you wake up in the morning you don’t have a hangover.
  • Comforter: Intercessor, consoler, an advocate.
  • The joy in the Lord, nothing can negate it. It’s there to strengthen us and give us hope.
  • If you want to have the joy of the Lord again, aside from just asking him, ask him for the opportunity to share what he has done for you with another. There is joy there.
  • We are His workmanship if we will submit to him, as you see that he is able to work a mighty work in you it gives you hope.
  • When it talks about prosperity in the gospel it is talking about our souls prospering not money.
  • Three stages of a Christian are; child, servant and friend. You can not go around any of them, you have to got through the process. It’s not to be unfair but to teach us so we can come to know Him more & more.
  • We all need to strive to be called his friend. A lot of people stay in the baby stage, we need to strive to be called his friend.
  • There is a boy who grows into a man and there is a boy who grows into a big boy. We don’t want to stay big children. We get there by obedience to authorities.
  • As we begin to understand the fear of the Lord then we can depart from evil. We have got to get to a place to recognize that we have got to do it!
  • Bringing that truth in Agape love is why iniquity is purged. By speaking the truth we are extending mercy.
  • For most women the process of birth isn’t a pleasant experience but once the baby is born all that really doesn’t matter. It is the same when we minister to one another, when the fruit of it comes all the labor didn’t matter.
  • If you are about yourself you will not love your enemy, but if you are about the Lord it is easy to love our enemy.
We are His servants, what another person does to us only effects us to the extent that we let it. We can overcome evil with good. It is that very stand that ultimately offers salvation.
  • Love God with all your heart and stand in the gap for those He loves. Choose to believe Him, put him before everything else.
  • Abraham stood in the gap for Lot. Moses stood in the gap for Israel.  There are many examples of people standing in the gap for others. Because of that they had an opportunity to get it right. That is what we need to be doing for people now.
  • God is a God of mercy is our testimony. Acknowledge we are sinners.
  • At times people’s names may pop in your mind, pray for them if you don’t know what for pray in tongues. We should pray for each other all the time. Not just for your brothers and sisters but those that the Lord puts in your minds. It also cleanses your own heart when you pray for one another.
  • We need to do what we are told, build up our most holy faith by praying in tongues. Putting others before yourselves is a right thing but it doesn’t mean you become an unimportant entity.
