Subject:
- When Jesus said “Not my will but thy will be done” He knew the Lords will. Do you know the Lords will and are you willing to choose His will over your own?
- Don’t ADD Jesus to your life, make your life about Jesus. Trying to ADD Jesus to your life means you are wanting to keep the life you have and wanting Jesus around in case of an emergency. You must make it all about Jesus and His life, not your life.
- Don’t worry about the small details about something you did, wondering if you did it right or if you did it wrong or if you should have done it differently. You will actually keep yourself from moving forward and doubting Gods ability to handle it.
- When you turn your life over to Jesus, it is now His life to do with as He pleases. He will do much better things with it than you could do.
- Your actions and words are in place of Jesus. What are you showing people with your actions and your words when you interact with people.
- When you pray, does it sound like a prayer that Jesus would pray? Is your prayer about others being led to God and what God wants, or is it about me, me, me and what you need or want.
- Are you committed to Jesus and what He wants and to please God the Father, or about what you are going to get out of it?
- Cast all your cares upon Jesus because He wants to see us get free from the bondage we are in to the world and the carnal man, and to be rid of all the garbage of the past. Give the baggage to Jesus, and let it go. It will only weigh you down until you can’t move anymore.
- Do not let your sin hold you back from moving forward to serve God. Yes, we are sinners, SO WHAT! Don’t let grief and guilt get a hold of you. Let it go. The blood of Jesus covered all of that junk. Don’t give that stuff any place.
- If you truly love the Lord you will obey His commandments. Love God, love one another.
- Jesus finished the work that was needed on the cross for full victory over death. That work is still being worked in us, but Jesus completed it so we can partake in His victory.
- Be confident that the work God has started in you, He will perform it until the day of Christ.
