Scriptures Used:
- Ezekiel 28
- John 1:12
Subject:
- Ezekiel 28 deals with a prophecy. The prince of Tyre is the antichrist, the King of Tyre is the fall of Lucifer.
- There are 2 groups being talked of coming against the antichrist:
- Strangers & the Terrible (one who was rejected and they are afraid of – this is Jesus. When he comes they will be terrified because they will realize they picked the wrong horse and this one is coming to trample them.
- John 1:12 – The sons of God refers to Gods host of angels.
- Gods angels were led by Michael and have stayed loyal to God the Father.
- The Holy Ghosts angels were led by Gabriel and have stayed loyal to Gabriel.
- Jesus’ angels were led by Lucifer and he did not remain loyal and they rebelled against Christ and were cast out. So Christ is re-building His army and He’s rebuilding it with the saints who believe on Him.
- If you were to go and be with the Lord right now, would you have the power to become a son of God? Many, if not most, would not have that power.
- In order to have that power we have to shed ourselves of the old man. The old man covets the things of the world, loves himself more than he loves others. In order to receive the power of God to become the sons of God, we need to shed ourselves of all of that.
- Learn to love God and others more than yourself. Cover the things that are in Heaven and not the things of this earth.
- When Jesus gives you something, it lasts forever, it doesn’t tarnish or rust or break, it lasts forever and it’s as good the first day of your life when you receive it as it is on the last day of your life when He receives you.
- The gifts of God are beyond understanding and are to be desired above all things. Nobody can take them away from you, but you can lay them down and not recall where you put them.
- The good news is that if you will humble yourself, confess to the Lord that you have lost or laid down those gifts, He will give them back to you and you can pick them back up and carry on again… it’s called God’s grace.
- We have our time on earth to learn how to be His soldiers and to be obedient. When we go to be with Him we will need to be able to instantly take orders.
- God gives us gifts on earth to help us learn to hear and do what we are told. These gifts are called parents … if you learn to obey them you get the foundation of how to obey God.
- God gives us Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors & Teachers. When you learn to obey them you’re learning how to obey God.
