TFM-TexasSpeakers:

  • Richard D. Eutsler, Sr.
  • Robin Atherton
  • Bob Hicks

Scriptures Used:

  • Hebrews 6:1
  • Hebrews 5:5
  • Hebrews 13:7
  • Philippians 2:12
  • Matthew 7:21
  • Hebrews 13:17

Subject:

  • Our acknowledgement that we are a sinner and acceptance of His blood on the cross for us, by that alone are we saved.
  • Though Jesus was not born in sin like the rest of us (not being a child of Adam – his father was the Holy Spirit), His walk was what kept the lines of communication open.
  • We have the Gospel and Grace which is a humble place to stand.
  • We need to stand in the Gospel, not sit in it.
  • Jesus understood the end (if He did not do what was required of Him all would be lost) and He feared.
  • Do we not understand what our end is if we do not likewise fear, not to die on the cross for the salvation of the Lord but to humble ourselves and walk in obedience to the Gospel of Christ and those who have the rule over us.
  • We cannot say we walk in the Gospel of Jesus Christ if we don’t obey those who have the rule over us.
  • Hebrews 13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
  • The thing about Steve is that he gives testimony of the fight to obey Davy (his authority in the Lord).
  • What a gift from God to have an example present with us of how to do this, and we know the fruit because it’s visible, it’s manifest.
  • If we don’t do likewise we’re not standing fast and fighting the good fight.  We then can’t have the confession of overcoming by the blood of the lamb, it’s a fight and a choice.  That’s a place where God can accomplish in us, but not if we’re convinced we don’t need it.
  • Let us fear so that God will hear us too.
  • You do not have to be a member of The Fishermen Ministry to gain salvation.
  • None of us want to hear the words “depart from me, I never knew you”.
  • In order to learn and grow in the Lord, we must do the will of the Father in Heaven.  What’s Gods will for us?
  • Hebrews 13:17  Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
  • Davy has given people something from the Lord and people say they have to pray about it.  They bypass the messenger God sends and bypass the blood of Jesus thinking they can go directly to Him.
  • Before you can even do the commission, you must do the simpler things:  love God with all your heart, your mind, your strength, your soul and love your neighbor as yourself.
  • How can you obey God if you don’t love God?  If you love Him, keep His commandments.
  • Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He has never changed, His commandments have never changed, what He requires from us has never changed.
  • When you become a Christian, you’re going to meet all kinds of people with strange gospels.  It is a good thing that the heart be established with grace.  If your heart is not established with grace you’re going to go whichever way the wind blows, you’ll have no anchor.
  • The man who builds his house on the rock – Jesus is the rock.
  • Grace comes through Jesus, not from the law, the Church or the Church building.
  • There is no church that is the rock, Jesus is the rock and you cannot receive grace unless you receive Him.
  • When your heart is established with grace you will not concern yourself with what you eat, drink, wear, what anyone else wears, what matters is do you love the Lord?  Do you walk in that Agape love of God?
  • Your heart has to be established in grace if you want to make it through and be one of those who Jesus says “welcome, good and faithful servant”.
  • You cannot have your heart established in grace if it is full of fear.  Fear destroys faith.  It takes faith to have your heart established in grace.  If you let fears enter into your heart about what might be, can be or even what is, then grace is weakened and even broken.  So remember God does not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
  • God gives us those things so our hearts can be established in grace.  That is where we receive our righteousness, through Jesus Christ.
