Subject:
- The story of the Good Samaritan. The Samaritans were hated by the Jews.
- Jesus takes us to the end. Where is that end? The Lord brings me in and binds my wounds.
- As the body grows, it requires workers who lay down their lives to serve.
- If you look at the things of the world you will never help as the Samaritan does.
- There was someone who cared for us. Our job is to love our neighbor.
- Jesus says: If you love me keep my commandments. Love is obedience.
- The place He prepares for us is there but until then we dwell in the body of Christ and minister one to another.
- We have to care about others as the Samaritan did. The Samaritan is hated of all men.
- Is Jesus welcome in your heart?
- The thief comes to kill steal and destroy. I am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.
- There is only one life, Christ Jesus. If you’re not in Him, you’re dead.
- If we put the magnifying glass on us, we see we will look as bad as the evildoer a we want to come against because of what they do.
- An evildoer can be a murderer but a person walking in unbelief is also an evildoer. Now none of us looks so great.
- Worker of iniquity –walks in pride.
- When you walk in the light you bring accountability. Judgment falls.
- There has been no temple since 70 AD. The light came and darkness rejected it.
- Trust in the Lord and do good. Don’t trust in your heart, it is desperately wicked.
- Trust in the Lord and you don’t worry about things.
- Sacrifice of praise- no matter what is going on, do that and He meets you in your distress. That is the do good part.
- Thou shalt be fed. The Lord takes care of all our needs. If it isn’t a need, we may not get it.
- To esteem the things of God above every other thing is to delight ourselves in Him.
- That is how we welcome Him into our heart.
- If you are to operate in gentleness toward others, you have to overcome yourself and have to go through a fight and put off those feelings.
- People get weary in their minds. We all go through it, but it is not justifiable at all. Don’t let it win.
- You need to determine to walk in the kingdom of God no matter what comes against you, that people may know.
