Subject:
- God honors obedience. James gives testimony of his lack of obedience and the consequences of that and when he obeyed the Lord moved on his behalf and the consequences were a blessing to him.
- Stupid vs ignorant … it’s better to be ignorant than stupid. If you are ignorant you just don’t know a thing. If you are stupid you know a thing and don’t do it but are still accountable for what you know and don’t do.
- Take heed and listen to the things your authority tells you and then do them. Don’t be a hearer only but a doer of instructions.
- The truth of the word testifies against our nature. When we hear the truth we then make a choice whether or not we are going to believe it regardless of not liking it.
- By faith in Christ we receive transformation of our mind to the mind of Christ and laying down the carnal man.
- You must have the Spirit of Christ in you if you are going to be His. Without His Spirit, you are not His.
- If we want to know how something works, just ask God. All things were made by Him.
- If you don’t step out in faith, why would you expect God to move?
- God is under no obligations to provide for you if you are not His.
- No matter how far you fall, God’s grace is always enough to bring you back.
- If you are going to have peace with God, you WILL be at war with the flesh of the carnal man!
