TFM-Northfield-VermontSpeakers:

  • Steven Atherton
  • Robin Atherton

Scriptures used:

  • Psalm 37
  • Psalm 34
  • Ephesians 3:14
  • Colossians 3:1-7

Subject:

  • Though this physical body gets weary with this winter my soul and spirit are not.
  • Fret not over evil doers, be angry and sin not. We can not minister the salvation of Jesus Christ out of Anger.
  • We need to ask the Lord to sort this out in us. Ministering rightly is not going to come if we are fretting because of evil doers.
  • Remember how David would encourage himself in the Lord, listen to the word of God and pray.
  • Christ died for the whole world and His body is found through out the whole world. We can be a part of that  building up of the part of the body we don’t know. We can be a part of the His word being proclaimed and rightly divided unto others and pray for those we never knew we prayed for to hear.
  • His love is that kind of love that when Paul speaks of in Ephesians 3:14. Which is so deep and so wide and so tall that there is nothing excluded from me in Him. There is no sin that the breadth and depth and Height of His love has not washed away.
  • My soul was at rest, it was not weary. It praised the Lord because her boast is the Lord.
  • That which is impossible with man is possible with God. There is nothing to big about me or anyone else that God is not bigger than. There is a hope in that, that cannot be confounded. There is a victory in that. He should be our hope and our salvation.
  • Though my body might weary, my soul does not.
  • He will strengthen us to whatever task we have in the spirit if we are humbly His.
  • It should begin with the bowing of our knees, to acknowledge God is our Lord. What He has done and can and will do is worth bowing our knees for.
  • When we have a bad attitude, we want to hang on to it because we think we are justified.
  • Acknowledging we are wrong doesn’t make the other person right. But we need to acknowledge our own guilt. In order to get to the place where we minster the gospel is to acknowledge we are wrong before the Lord.
  • When we do this part we are planting a seed of love. It begins with us realizing we are wrong.
  • When we proclaim to be a Christian we are saying we are part of God’s family.
  • When we justify ourselves the weight of our statements get lost.
  • When you choose to confess that you are a sinner to our heavenly Father, you become a new creature, not your flesh, what changes is our soul is cleansed and our spirit is newborn.
  • Is what you are ministering helping to build up and establish the others in Christ Jesus or is it not?
  • Sometimes we think our problems are too big for God. We have a choice. Are we going to believe what the word says or are we going to believe what you feel? It doesn’t always fee like all things are possible. But those feelings are tied to the flesh and are liars. The Word of God does not lie.
  • What we need to look at is what our Heavenly Father can accomplish, then all things are possible.
  • If we would just choose to believe what the Word says.
  • You are in His family if you have asked Him into you heart and believe Him.
  • God is there to help you learn His ways.
  • Do you want to be rooted and grounded in Love? When you move love is what leads you and is what you do in word and in deed? You can because God is LOVE.
  • The understanding of God’s love can only come through Him.
  • You can grow and walk and minister in His love extraordinarily and be filled with all the fullness of God. Ask!
  • Christ is the just one, not us. Stop comparing ourselves amongst each other, doing so leads all of us to hell.
  • Choose to walk as a child of God.
