• Don’t assume that people can read your mind.  If you need something all you need to do is ask.
• The different members of a body work together to accomplish a task.  The same is true for the members of the body of Christ (believers).
• It is in our nature to puff ourselves up and think more highly of ourselves than we ought to.  If we exalt ourselves we will be brought down and put in our place with humiliation.  If you humble yourself first, then shall you be exalted.
• Don’t be discouraged when the Lord, or someone whom the Lord put in authority above you, chastens you. It is because He loves you and wants to teach you the right way.
• God has many, many good things to give us.  But if we don’t ask and receive them we won’t get them.  It doesn’t do any good for someone to offer you a gift if you don’t hold out your hands and take it, and don’t forget to thank Him for it when you get it.
• The goal we should be shooting for is to know God.  That’s what He wants.  He wants us to know Him.  He wants us to know His ways and know His character and nature.
• God will work with you wherever you are.  No matter what the problem or what your past is, if you seek Jesus He will meet you right where you stand.
