Subject:

  • Women as ministers and do the scriptures support women as ministers?
  • Women like men, are ministers and called to be ministers of the gospel.
  • The Lord is a Lord of order, not confusion.
  • In the scripture you see women ministers.
  • If we understand what the word of God says we have a basis that is sure.
  • There is a battle that goes on in a woman in standing as a minister also something to reconcile in ones self.
  • Servant: a minister, whether male or female. Succourer: is a patroness; to stand before in rank, to preside or by implication to practice, maintain, be over and rule.
  • Laboring done by these women was done in the ministering of the gospel.
  • Jesus sent Mary Magdalene and the other Mary with the word of God to minister unto the brethren. They were the first to preach the gospel.
  • The woman at the well another woman minister. She told people of the Christ. It’s interesting the Lord went to a woman in that town and the town heard.
  • The word of God says the last days he is going to pour out his spirit upon all flesh, not distinguishing male or female. Also that your sons and your daughters shall prophesy.
  • Prophesy: Speak to men to edification, exhortation and comfort. He that prophesyeth edifieth the church.
  • Part of being a minister is to edify the church.
  • The order the Lord has put into place for women.
  • Paul gives place for women prophesying in the church. When a woman is prophesying she would need her head covered.  A woman’s covering would be her husband your father or spiritual head. The Lord has a woman always under the headship of a man.
  • Women under authority, in that position they minister.
  • Usurping authority over a man is speaking of a wife and her husband. She is not in submission of all men.
  • Deborah was judge over Israel who was married, but was judge over all other men in Israel.
  • God can and will do the impossible. Ask the Lord to show you in a way you can understand if you think you are being lead to the ministry. Go to your husband  or head and speak to them about it. If he says no, go pray and trust the Lord, leave it in God’s hands.
  • If you don’t have a husband go to your father, if you don’t have a father go to your minister. Ask your authority what they would have you to do. Know that God can speak to you through them.
  • Obedience to our authority is important. This is a place we get to as women exercise that in faith.
  • The reason why God puts women under a man’s authority.
  • Women think first with their emotions, because of that, they are more spiritually open. Men think logically first. Because women are more spiritually open we can be more open to wrong spirits and fall into error.
  • God has set it up that women are given guidance through their spiritual authority. It should not be an insult or a burden, it is showing God’s protection and love for them.
  • It is true women act out of emotion. If women give heed to their authority they can get past it.
  • Women take advantage int he provision God has given them. Let’s go forward in it.
  • We are blessed mightily by the Lord with His protection and love and His annointing He has given us to be able to  minister Him.
