Subject:
- No matter what you have done in the past there is forgiveness and grace for you and you can still partake in the good things that the Lord has for you if you turn back to Him.
- Don’t judge or be bitter against those who may have been wasteful with their time or material goods in the past but have seen the error of their ways and humble themselves to ask for forgiveness and want to make it right. Be joyful for the moment of their repentance and be glad to have them back and forget all things from the past. People will at times forsake the Lord and go they’re own way for a time, but, God will be joyful, and will receive them back if they turn back to Him and ask forgiveness. This is the grace and mercy of God that we ought to be giving unto others as well.
- People will rely on what they see in the natural and what they understand in the carnal mind and are blind to the truth in their own ignorance. They are blind to the fact that they are in need of a savior.
- The ONLY way unto God is through Jesus. It is only by the blood of Christ and HIS righteousness that we will enter into the Kingdom of God. People want to try to get in by their own righteousness by being “good” or by “good” works looking to get in by some other way. We have no righteousness of our own! NONE! Jesus refers to these as a thief and a robber (John 10: 1).
- John 14: 6 Jesus says, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN cometh unto the father BUT BY ME”.
- If you love Jesus then you will keep His words and His father will also love you and they will make their abode with you. If you do not keep His words then you are not loving Jesus no matter how often you say you do or think you do.
- Jesus’ life was not taken by man. People will ask at times “who killed Jesus, the Romans or the Jews?” Neither. Jesus layed down His own life. No man had the power to take His life except it be given him to do so. God the Father allowed it to happen because it was the only way for man to be reconciled back to God and be saved.
- When you see a person going through a hard time or struggling with life in general, are you pointing them to Jesus or pointing them to something else, anything else, other than Jesus? If you are a Christian you are always pointing people to Jesus.
- If you are a part of Jesus’ flock you will know his voice as sheep know the voice of their Shepard. It is important to know the word of God so you can tell if what someone is telling you is in fact true. If you hear a thing that does not agree with what Gods word says, then you know it is false.
- People will not always believe the words that are spoken by you or that are written in the bible. People tend to believe what they see with their own eyes. That is why Jesus instructs a believer to perform miracles and lay hands on the sick to heal them so people can witness with their own eyes the power of God and believe that He is.
