This is life and death. Take it seriously!
God gave us a way of salvation. It’s not asking that much to give our lives to Him.
There is only 1 requirement for coming to these meetings: you must be a sinner.
Waiting on the Lord means to serve the Lord. If you’re going to serve, you’re going to get tired and you’re going to need to have your strength renewed.
Paul was a contemporary of the disciples, but he didn’t walk with them. He learned it all directly from Jesus on the road to Damascus.
The Church is under the administration of Jesus Christ.
Come just as you are because He provides everything we need. His hope, His power, His love, His grace, His mercy etc.
Paul wanted the good gifts of God for his son (by faith), Timothy.
Timothy had to receive the good gifts of God first, before he could go forward in Christ and share them with others.
Keep the Word of God pure just as was done for you.
Paul gives Timothy a charge and if he didn’t do it, he answers to the Lord.
Some examples of wrong doctrines are: The bride of Christ teaching, the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, etc.
Who you are related to means nothing, but it ministers pride.
Agape love is a love of preference.
Put your focus on Him and you won’t see your pain or struggles, you will have joy and it’s addictive.
Having a good conscience means when you make a mistake you are cut to the heart, you apologize, you repent, ask forgiveness and don’t do it again. Change!
Faith unfeigned is faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Having swerved off the path doesn’t mean you can’t get back on the path.
Vain jangling is messages that make you feel better about yourself than you ought.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 they perished because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
The law is good if man use it lawfully.
A righteous man is righteous because he believes he is evil and guilty.
