Subject:

  • Are you looking at being about God’s agenda or your own agenda. To lay down your life to serve God means to give up your agenda for His.
  • Don’t plan on getting anything from the Lord if you are not about doing His business. Bringing His word to others. God is not going to change His agenda to suite you. You need to change yours to suite His. Are you serving the Lord or yourself?
  •  When you seek to do the Lord’s agenda pursue it, and understand it, you seek to be great in the kingdom of heaven to be the servant of all as Jesus served the disciples by washing their feet. He was giving us an example of how to serve others.
  • God’s agenda is to have people receive Him. It’s that simple.
  • You can use anything or any situation as a tool to minister the gospel to someone.
  • There is no justification in saying “I didn’t have time or don’t have time.” There is always time to do what the Lord would have you do. It really comes down to the fact that you just didn’t want to or didn’t feel like it. It really isn’t about time. You spent what time you had doing your own thing instead.
  • You want to have a desire to be a blessing unto others but it is the Lord you seek to please by showing Him and His gospel to other people and be fruitful in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God.
  • Colossians 1:9-16 is a prayer that Paul the Apostle prayed for the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who were in Colossae. This is an example of a prayer that we should also be praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
  • Where you are in your walk in the Lord is going to show. At home or at work or wherever you are before others. Do not think anything is hidden.
  • When your only desire is to please the Lord, you will do all things as though you are doing them for the Lord Himself.
  • Everything that Jesus did was a pattern for us to fallow so we would know how to walk as he walked. The instructions that Jesus handed down to the disciples are the same for us. Happy are ye if you do them.
  • Faith will not do you a bit of good without works. By doing something and stepping out in action is how we show we have faith. Sitting on the couch doing nothing shows nothing and doesn’t prove a thing.
  • Even devils believe and tremble at the presence of Jesus. If the thought of the power and judgement of Jesus doesn’t make you tremble then that means that demonic spirits have more respect for Jesus than you do.
  • The Lord is at hand. Do not think that the Lord has forsaken you or isn’t paying attention to what you’re doing. If you are not connected to the Lord, then connect with Him. He’s right there for you.
