• When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and start walking the way He would have you walk, you will lose friends and family.  You will be hated.  Keep your eyes on Jesus and He will see you through and know that some day you will be able to fellowship with those who also turn their lives over to Him.
• If people are able to turn you from doing what you know is right to do, they feel justified in their wrongdoing.  Don’t give up, don’t give in.  Keep your eyes on Jesus.
• The joy of the hope is that when we walk it to the end and they see our faithfulness in walking it to the end, then they can say “Truly, he/she did believe” and that can be what brings them into the Kingdom
• If we can serve the apostles God has given us without judgment and without question, but to learn to do it, we will have the same end as the people of Joshua who no man could stand before them.  It is up to us, and it’s the only way it will occur.
• The family of Christ is here for you, and we should thank God daily for that family.
• Seeing Jesus in us… if we be in Christ, then we are invisible.  If we be in Christ, we are not here.  If we give all that we have to walk in, to believe, to serve Christ, then we are not here.  Why would anybody want to see us?
• If you did not hear the Vermont sermon from today, go and listen to it … you need to hear it, and hear it again, the sermon Steve Atherton preached on your agenda vs God’s agenda.
• The bottom line of our agenda vs God’s agenda is what messes us up with our walk with Christ is our agenda.  How easy would it be to follow all the commandments of the Lord if we didn’t have our own agendas?
• What is God’s agenda?  Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, strength and love your neighbor as yourself and obey His commandments…. that which comes out of the Word and those whom He has put in authority over you.
