TFM-Hour-of-TruthSpeakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Rick Eutsler, Jr.
  • Phillip Walthall
  • James Eutsler

Scriptures used:

  • Ephesians 4:13-27

Subject:

  • Loving one another is a part of being a member of the Church of Philadelphia.
  • Trusting in the Lord our provider.
  • There is a lot of Scripture telling us to be of one mind, having the same judgment, speaking the same thing, working together.
  • What price are you willing to put on a mans soul?  Are you looking to get a pound of flesh from a man over a small and insignificant matter?  Don’t let small matters derail you from your relationship with others and from the Lord.
  • You don’t have to physically kill someone to commit murder.  If you hate your brother or sister you are guilty of murder.
  • Love one another as Christ loved us.  Jesus loved us even when we were not loveable.
  • Jesus said “Love God, Love one another.”  If we stand in judgement we cannot love one another.
  • Believers are the body of Christ and He is the head of the body.  We need to be about His will, as the body follows the commandments of the mind.
  • We must be strong in doctrine and we need the correction of God in order to continue on the right path toward Him.
  • Love and correction involves speaking the truth to a person.  Truth not as a means to put them down but rather that they know what is in the way of drawing closer to God and can get rid of it.
  • Our relationships and fellowship with others of like mind is critical for us in the body for growth.  Forsake not fellowship.  Fellowship is food for the soul.
  • Ananias and Sapphira (in the book of Acts) said they were giving 100% to the Lord and were not.  Are you doing the same thing to God?  Telling people you serve God and calling yourself a Christian and yet still serving yourself is the same thing as what Ananias and Sapphira did.  What’s the difference?
  • God has given us everything we need not to perish.  If you perish it is your own fault.  We must choose to receive and use what God has given us to receive salvation.
  • Put off the lifestyle of the old man and put on the new man which follows Christ.
