TFM-Hour-of-TruthSpeakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Phillip Walthall
  • James Eutsler
  • Gail Stevens

Scriptures used:

  • Romans 6:1-2
  • Psalms 51
  • 1 Peter 4:12-13

Subject:

  • Grace is to cover our mistakes as we move forward in the Lord.  Not to cover us as we sit idle in the same place.
  • Don’t let your failures provoke you to give up your walk in the Lord.  Forget about the failure when it happens and keep moving forward.
  • Stand in what God is able to do in His power and might.  Don’t get caught up in your own weakness and unworthiness.  Of course we are weak and unworthy but God is able to lift us above that by His power.
  • Anything we do outside of the operation of God will not bring forth fruit.
  • God is a redeemer.  When we foul up God can use it to bring forth a benefit to somebody or even you.  Usually the lesson teaches us what not to do.
  • Trust God to do good for you out of whatever it is you may have done wrong.
  • Our own actions, decisions, and attitudes are usually to blame for the negative situations we find ourselves in most of the time.  Stop blaming others or trying to “pass the buck” on to somebody else.  Change your attitude and make different choices!!!!  You can stop and take a minute and turn to the Lord and get right with Him at any time during your day.  Don’t stay in a place of frustration or anger all day long and let it overtake you.  It will only get worse as the day goes on.
  • When you have a testimony of the Lords grace and mercy you can then share it with others so that they may know they can partake in these things also.
  • 1st Peter 4:12-13.  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christs’ sufferings; that when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
