• If you receive anything good it is because the Lord is good.
• Most often we react to things with the flesh first and then go through the process of turning around and looking to deal with a thing in spirit. The goal is to get to the place where we react in the spirit instantly and forget the flesh all together, and that will happen if you are in the spirit continually.  The flesh will not have any place to begin.
• Trust in the Lord with all your heart.  We are not to rely on our own understanding about anything because we only see a very small part of what is really going on and God see’s the entire full picture.  What we understand about anything is useless.
• We as people have a tendency to make things much more complicated than they need to be.  God makes things very easy to understand.  We, on the other hand want to add our own “stuff”( thoughts or opinions) to a thing thinking we can improve on God’s way but it only adds confusion and chaos.  Keep it simple!
• It’s when we are puffed up and think we know something and want to tell people a thing or two is when you will find yourself being humiliated and shot down.  You don’t want to let pride get hold of you and get you to think more of yourself than you ought.
• Salvation is a gift from God.  It is not something that we can earn by what we do.  If God gives it as a gift, what in the world do have to brag or boast about of ourselves?
• God gave us faith so we could believe Him.  It doesn’t make much sense to take what God has given us for a certain purpose and use it for every other thing and to use it to believe something else other than Him.
• Without faith it is impossible to please God.  IMPOSSIBLE?!  This can be a tough concept to get ourselves to accept because it is our nature to think we can please God with our works.  By being good or nice to others and doing nice things for them we want to think that God is pleased with that.  It is by believing Him and His word that He is pleased.  NOT OUR WORKS!
• God is about reconciling man back to Himself.  That is why He gave us faith so we could have a chance to believe Him.
• God’s ministry is one of love, security, and happiness.  God wants to give you the good things of His Kingdom and wants you to share these things with others.
• If anybody see’s the goodness upon us it is not the person they are seeing, it is the goodness of God working in them they see.
• The power of the blood of Christ was to wash us of our sin’s and unrighteousness.  The blood of Christ brings us LIFE and the ability to live in His life.  It is in His blood that our only hope lies.
• God will not reject or despise a broken and contrite heart.
• God has made Himself known to us through His Word.  Gods and His ways should not be a mystery to us.  We can know Him and His ways.  He made a way that makes it possible for us to have a personal relationship with Him.
