The Church used to be a place where answers could be found

When the hard questions come now everybody just looks around

Jesus gave us all the answers so we could be sound

But we got so busy with our own lives.

When we read the Word it’s easy to see

The Father left the job and all the tools for you and me

The question now is will we open our eyes to see

And walk away from our own lives.

What will you be doing when He comes for you?

Everybody’s pointing fingers like they’ve got no fault at all

Seems like we’ve all forgotten we’re the ones that received the call

Doesn’t it say right in His Word go out and tell them all

But we got so busy with our own lives.

The Church must repent and fall down on its face

If we ever want to show others the Lords grace

Let us count the cost and join this race

And walk away from our own lives.
