Subject:

• Why is it so important to be of one mind and have the mind of Christ?
• Without the blood of Jesus covering us and us choosing to walk in His ways we can not serve anything other than this flesh.
• Being of one mind and one mouth brings glory to God.
• Christ was not divided and we need to not be divided.
• We can not understand spiritual things until we have the mind of Christ.
• Philippians 1:27 “… that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel…”.  It is imperative to have one mind and to strive, to fight to have one mind.
• 1 Peter 1:13 tells us to gird up the loins of your mind, be sober … a man/woman does what a man/woman wants to do.  We have a choice and we need to choose to be sober in our minds.
• 1 Peter 4:2 “That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God”.  That is what we should be diligently fighting for, to no longer live in the flesh but to the will of God.
• Brother Davy mentioned in the Texas service that “You may not be a soldier who carries a gun, but even nurses were in the military”.  It is extremely important that we learn to fight in our minds to do His will.
• We are enlisted in the army of the Lord by choice, not by force.
• If you do not choose the Lord, you have already chosen the enemy.  Do not think that you haven’t chosen, because we are born into the choice of being an enemy of the Lord.  We have to choose, of our own free will, to surrender our lives to Him and serve Him and do His will and then we are His soldiers in His army with His mind.
• There is only 1 mind – His mind, the mind of Christ.
• The only individuality is His.
• God will NOT tolerate pride in His Kingdom again.
• The zeal by which God commanded us to keep His commandments – not just to destroy the guilty but those who knew of the guilt and did not call it out but left it to spread.
• Love God, love one another with Agape love not Phelios love.
• Our mind is the seat of our will.  Hearing is of no consequence but receiving it as true is extremely important.
• Having their understanding darkened.
• Put off means you choose to put it off and then do put it off, not that it’s removed from you by someone else.
• Patience means determination to complete that which is set before you to do.
• Put off, not suppress.  There is a difference.
