• Grace is unmerited favor.
• Grace and mercy only apply when you acknowledge your guilt.
• Academia and our minds grade on the curve.  Jesus does not grade on a curve.
• God and His ways are black and white.  You’re either for Him or against Him.
• If you love God, keep His commandments.  It’s a big deal to do exactly as the Lord commands you to do.  That includes when your authorities command something of you.
• Get rid of pride and rebellion.
• His gift can’t help you if you don’t first acknowledge your need for a savior.
• Recognize God is right and you are wrong, then grace and mercy can start to work.
