Subject:

  • John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
  • Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45  That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46  For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
  • James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
  • Our God is good and His mercy endureth forever.  There are 42 verses on this, so it must be important.
  • Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
  • 1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
  • Remember those things the Lord has done in your life and those prayers He has answered as a testimony to you and others.
  • Do not allow yourself to forget the testimony of the Lord and His move in your life.
  • In Hebrews 4:1 the use of the word SEEM is one that should terrify you.
  • Without being mixed with faith, you die because it is not digested properly or does not work for your body.
  • Let us therefore fear, stand in terror of, should seem to come short.
  • Receive the Gospel and mix it with faith and walk in it.
  • Not everyone who claims to be a believer truly is a believer.
  • The obedience of doing the will of the Father can only be done if you have faith.
  • Brother Davy mentioned during the Hour of Truth today “We say we give our life to God, then why are we still doing our own things?”
  • Just because you may have done all the things you think you need to do in order to serve the Lord, does not mean the Lord was in any of it.
  • If you think you know best as to where you are in the Lord, you’re in trouble.
  • You need to be accountable to one who has already been through the trials and tribulations and can guide you through them.
  • Romans 13 has nothing at all to do with civil or worldly authority, it has everything to do with Godly authority.
