Speakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Brad Capshaw

Scriptures used:

  • Luke 1:67-80
  • Deuteronomy 28

Subject:

  • Are you His people?
  • The judgment of God is upon this country.
  • When we become Christians we tend to start thinking better of ourselves because of the change the Holy Spirit does in our hearts, instead of continuing to trust in Jesus’ sacrifice we fall into pride.
  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
  • If the government is the enemy of you serving the Lord, then it stinks to be the government because their judgment will come.
  • The Lord has always had 1 person who got it right, feared Him and believed Him like they should.
  • The only covering for sin (ALL sin) came from Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.
  • God never hid his face from David.  This proves that getting it right with the Lord does not mean you won’t make mistakes.
  • Jesus came to deliver the Jews, but they received Him not.
  • The Jews took great pride in being God’s chosen people.  This was their shortcoming.  They wanted a savior who justified them.  They wanted to be head of the table but they did not want to know Him or His ways.
  • Read your Bible every day so you can learn His ways.  He is not unknowable.
  • What God intended for your good, don’t let it be a testimony against you.
