Subject:
- Obedience & God’s love that chastens us. We are to take heed to His voice, being faithful servants.
- Keeping our eye single rather than giving lip service.
- Delight, be pliable, in the Lord.
- God is able to keep us from falling, we are not able, He is able.
- We know Jesus loves us, but do we love Him? Are we going to do what it takes to love Him. Doing so is not easy.
- Easy to be frustrated rather than serve.
- To walk as Jesus walked is to love our brother and our enemies, contrary to our flesh.
- The contentious ways of the past vs. the ways of the Lord which are equitable and both are blessed. God’s ways are really easier.
- This is a lifelong, life & death, race.
- The faith we give God has been corrupted by the world. God takes it and purifies it.
- Jesus was the only one with a pure faith. Abraham, Paul, the great cloud of witnesses all came to that pure faith.
- We are here because of the intercessions of others on our part when we were stony ground, watering and dunging us so that the seed of the Word could take root.
- God is preparing us to do likewise for others.
- In our natural man we are wretched but in Christ we have hope.
