Subject:
- Being reminded of the Lord’s strength and what He can do through us.
- Exhortation to stand fast in the Lord – not being moved – being set as a thermostat rather than being a thermometer – being careful for nothing – not be moved by things but make your requests to God instead.
- Commandment to rejoice in the Lord always.
- Think about the Lord throughout your day.
- The commandment to DO what you have learned, received, heard and seen. If we obey and DO, we are like unto the man who built his house on the rock.
- Commandment to walk as Jesus walked. If you do this you are being strong in the Lord and the power of his might.
- Trust Him, believe Him and determine to serve Him.
- Definition of a servant.
- A true servant doesn’t judge his master.
- A true servant of God does not care what they look like to others. The Pharisees were eye pleasers, self serving.
- Service to God is contrary to the ways of man.
- A true servant looks to please his master, not himself.
- The need to humble yourself before God who has made a way for us to enter into His presence, the entrance that He has made.
- The walk of every saint is evidenced by the belief in God over everything else.
- Receiving God’s forgiveness is the most humble place to be.
- The choice of hardening not your heart is one God has given us to make.
- Choose who you are going to serve, God or satan. Satan does not care who you think you serve as long as you do not choose to serve God.
- Don’t think that you can ignore God and His ways and end up in heaven.
