The Lord has given you everything you need to go forward.
The Lord confirms His word. Do you take heed to His word and choose to go forward in it?
When you don’t get the joy in you, it’s because you are somehow trying to get the flesh to agree with the Lord and it never will.
To receive the joy you have to put the old man down.
If you don’t have joy, have you put that old man down? Are you loving your brother? If not you’re not loving the Lord.
Don’t put your energy in dressing up the flesh, rather put it down! It is then that you can take up that new man, the cloak the Lord has given you.
No matter what is going on around you, put that old man down and don’t give it any place at all!
Your flesh doesn’t get better, it only gets worse.
