Subject:

  • Hold fast to the whole Word of the Lord, to follow Him, love Him, stand for the Lord and walk the walk he has told us to witness of Him to others whether they think they know Him or not.
  • The Lord is not slack in any of His promises.   If there seems a disconnect it is with our unbelief of Him and His Word that stops us moving forward in His love and power.
  • Jesus comes and promises more abundant life to believers.
  • Scott tells Melanie’s experience and some test results.
  • When you pray do you believe your prayer and that the Lord is not slack in any of His promises?   You need to reject unbelief, cleave to His work and believe Him. Remember the tribulations you go through to build faith in Him, for next time to stand and share what He has done for you so others can hear of His love.
  • Be not afraid of sudden fear.
  • The glory of the results of the tests, show the deliverance of baby from this from the thief who comes to kill steal and destroy, belongs to the Lord.
  • Soldiers find themselves in battles and need fortitude to stand, having seen folks who have been through similar experiences and come out of it so they don’t fall into hopelessness where they will find themselves dead.  Hold onto that faith and strength.   Lean on Jesus and believe His Word and He will see you through your situation.
  • There are two themes in Psalms 105.   Verse one He calls His people to make known His wondrous works.   How do you make know His wondrous works if they be not done?   How can they be done if His people don’t do them?
  • Jesus came to show the Father, and the prophets came to do the works and to give out His word.
  • Many people think you have to be special or a predestinated to do the works of God, an anointed one of God to do the works of God.   The prophets of old: Jeremiah and Daniel were predestinated men but there was Elijah, a Tishbite low on the totem pole, who read the Word and compared what was being done in Israel with it.   He stood and proclaimed:  Where is the Lord God of Israel?   Let all of these things that are written be done unto Israel, let there be no rain upon the earth until I say otherwise.    That got the attention of God.
  • Immediately God began to train Elijah to be a prophet.   He wasn’t preordained but a regular seed of Adam who chose to believe God’s Word and through him He manifested God’s greatness and His goodness.   God had a vessel He could use.
  • Some say they “want to be a tool in the hand of God” but a tool is put away and cast aside when its usefulness is done with.   Do you want to be cast aside and put away when your usefulness is done with?   Let’s be the hand of God.   If we be the body of Christ, if you be a believer on the Name of Jesus Christ you are part of His body not a tool to be picked up and thrown away, a part of His body that has the power of the Father in them.
  • Let us give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His Name, make known his deeds among the people.   Be prepared to walk in that anointing that God freely gives to those who seek Him.   Don’t worry about being predestinated, though there are those that are the predestinated, who come to show the seed of Adam that they can also join in.
  • If the seed of Adam will grab hold of the Word of God and dare to believe it then it doesn’t matter who you are, you can make known His glorious power and His glorious ways.
  • I have seen God move in wondrous ways and His power many times.   Some here in this room have seen His power move, and some listening have seen the power of God move through this minister, but why me?   Why not you?
  • All it takes is to seek His face, want to do His will, lay down with your will, plans, and desires and pick up His.   That’s all it takes – it’s easy!   The hard part is wanting to do it.
  • If you be a Christian, believe on the Name of Jesus and have given your life to him, you are one off the Sons of God and have the authority to heal the sick, cast out devils, to raise the dead, to preach His Gospel, to perform His miracles, to show forth the goodness of God in the Name of Jesus and until you do you can go forth and tell people of the goodness of the Lord that you have seen.
  • There are two parts.   Talk about all His wonderful works.   Seek to be a  partaker of performing those works that others may believe.
