Walking in the Spirit. The Gifts of the Spirit: The interpretation of Tongues. The tongues come from the Lord, from the Spirit, they are authored by Him. The interpretation is given in a language we can understand. When in the body, speaking in tongues should not be done unless there is an interpreter. It is easy not to hear the instruction to pray for the interpretation, so that we can bear fruit in our understanding. The purpose is for the edification of the church, it is the working of the body for the edification of itself. That includes all the gifts.
