Hour of Truth – 12/07/2014
Forgive your brothers and sisters for their faults as you need forgiveness also for yours. You are no better than anyone else and you are as much of a sinner as anyone. Do not hold a grudge toward them. Forgiveness will set you free. The rebellion of man is centered around pride and refusal to allow an authority over you. It is an anarchy way of thinking that you are above everyone and the one in charge. Very important to show others, in your deeds, the way of Jesus and how he did things so people can see a different way of doing things. That is walking as He walked.

If we do all things as unto the Lord imagine what the body would look like, what the body could be, the people outside that we could reach. It starts with making the choice to serve God. God tells us what’s expected of us that we may please Him. Husbands are you going to step up? We should be measuring ourselves against Jesus. If we are just serving Him is every way we can we can’t go wrong. God didn’t call us to fail.

Self Righteousness. One of the most fundamental things we need to address if we are going to walk in the Lord. Two reasons; one we don’t have any and the the other it is contrary to the very gospel. The things we esteem as good or highly in this world are an abomination in the sight of the Lord. When you try to justify yourself among men you are taking your eyes off the things of the Lord. The ways of men are not the ways of God and He is not pleased with them. When we stop and think about how much we stray from the word and what we were told to do, we will realize how much we need grace.

Subject: Walking that which the Lord has commanded you to walk in. Wherever the Lord has put you in the body that it what you do. It is Him that puts you where you are. Humble yourself and make that choice to serve the Lord no matter what. God’s going to resist you if you’re not humble. Do you want God resisting you? Continue reading
