“Be not afraid of sudden fear”. The Lord is our confidence and our hope is in Him. Put into practice what you hear in the Word of God. The Lord wants doers not pew warmers, which will you be? To be strong in the grace of the Lord one must daily humble himself/herself to the Lord. How to do that? You just go before God and say: “Lord I humble myself before you.” Get on our knees. How do you learn to be humble before God? You learn by practicing with one another! You learn by practicing being humble with one another.

Agree with the provisions He has provided for us. There is freedom is seeking to please the Lord. Pleasing the Lord is faith. You don’t love Him and you can’t please Him in this flesh. The only thing we need to be strong in is believing Christ and what He has done, and agreeing with Him. Trust in the covering the Lord has given us. With Him and His grace we can walk our daily lives. Trust in His grace and mercy to bring us to the other side of the situations. Look at what He is able to do!

Hour of Truth – 6/22/2014

We choose our emotions. If we are angry, mad, offended, or whatever else we can come up with, we have chosen to feel that way. Yet, we will then blame someone else for “making” us feel that way. People will say and do all manner of things to us, and yes, there is a responsibility on their part but, regardless, we can choose to be joyful, happy, and thankful because of what Jesus has done for us. This is not easy nor is it the choice of the flesh but it is possible to choose joy in the Lord over anger in the world at any time.

Your flesh can be a god. You cannot be double minded. The Lord begins purging those things off us. The Lord has given us power over the old man, to put it off. It’s yet our choice to rather listen to the Lord or the old man. We’re only righteous by the blood of the lamb.
