A proper fear of the Lord you can lay down your life and serve Him the way He wants you to serve Him. The Lord wants to relive our fears, He wants to take those off of us. The only rightly placed fear is the fear of God. We must properly fear God knowing He is the one that decides our fate, He is the one that makes that decision, eternal life or hell-fire. If we reject God, we’re going to cut ourselves off from the only true source of knowledge, love and power.
