Speakers:

  • Robin Atherton
  • Ann Eutsler
  • Karen Hocker
  • Megan Atherton

Scriptures used:

  • Romans 1:16-32

Subject:

  • The righteousness of God is revealed through the people who believe Him. Not because they are better than anyone else, but because God’s glory is shown through them.
  • The Just believe God, they have that faith where they turn from their own ways.
  • Do we realize how much time our mind stays on our own thoughts and imaginations?
  • We have an advocate with the Father, turn our cares to Him by faith.
  • Going from faith to faith, when we go forth in faith and He meets us and builds our faith to  continue in faith.
  • The connecting thread is faith through all God’s people, and His righteousness is manifest because of it.
  • We cannot be Just (righteous) outside of Faith.
  • There are things that manifest God, available to be known, but some don’t receive it as it is given. It is because they don’t want that truth.
  • There is nothing we can do that is acceptable to God, except do His word and go forth in His righteousness.
  • The evidence of God is here.
  • Evolution is based on a nonsensical theory and cannot even be scientifically proven, but some scientists don’t want to know God.
  • When our nation began those who were Christians salted our nation and we are far from that now.
  • We can’t be thankful to God for something if we don’t recognize it as a gift.
  • Do we want to see God all around us? Or are we blinding ourselves to God?
  • Everyone has a foolish heart until we receive Jesus who is the Light to change our foolish heart. Which is a starting point for all of us but, those who reject, their hearts are darkened.
  • We are without an excuse for not knowing God.
  • In nature there is immense evidence of God.
  • God is not a woman!
  • Man now tries to make God like unto our image. No, he made man after His image.
  • Man was set over this world, worshipping any other thing besides God is unacceptable and idiotic.
  • Because people won’t stand against the homosexuality the AIDS will be found in non-homosexuals.
  • The Christians won’t stand against sin, so the same uncleanness that come upon the ones continuing in sin will come upon those that choose not to make a stand.
  • The Lord will meet us where we are and deliver us, seek Him!
  • If we reject God and won’t acknowledge Him, He will give us over to a reprobate mind, doing all those things that are unrighteous and God hates.
  • Unrighteousness is anything and everything motivated and grounded for the satisfying of man.
  • Disobedience doesn’t bring understanding, obedience brings understanding.
  • God says He will be merciful to those who are merciful.
  • Satan knows his end, and enjoys bringing others to his same end. People can be the same way.
  • If we give ourselves over to our own foolish heart and understanding our end is the same as satan’s.
  • Bring our heart to the light so our deeds can be made manifest. If we don’t bring it to the light then we get the consequences promised in this chapter.
  • We are not to reject people but reject the things that they do if it be unclean or unrighteous.
  • Call on God, He is there and what we need He will give us. He is gracious.
  • Don’t be ashamed of the gospel even though it testifies against us. There is only shame in not repenting. There is no shame in Christ. We all have shame outside of Christ.
