TFM-South-CarolinaSpeakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Phillip Walthall
  • Scott Stevens
  • James Eutsler

Scriptures used:

  • Matthew 6:24
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
  • Hebrews 12:5-11
  • 2 Corinthians 12:9

Subject:

  • Die to yourself, sow the good seed. What seed are we going to lay down?
  • If someone is walking it out, they’re sowing the seed, and you’re going to see the fruit from it.
  • Our walk in Christ is black and white. There are two different ways we can do it. Which we choose is about what’s going on inside of us.
  • Your problem is you.
  • If we believe God, we’re going to take these instructions seriously. It won’t be about doing things for everyone to see, it’ll be about pleasing Him that we may somehow walk in what He would have for us.
  • It’s not about what anyone else thinks about what we do or how we operate, it’s about what God thinks.
  • God is the most important thing.
  • Love is about making a decision to set someone else first. Set God first, others next, ourselves last.
  • If we want what the Lord has, if we want to learn of Him and receive the fullness; humility, service, and the decision to put Him first in all things, we’ve got to take the time to make that happen.
  • Each and every day there are two choices: either I’m first or God’s first.
  • We can very easily turn away from the truth. How many times do we not like the truth? Choose to love the light.
  • Jesus came to save our soul, not comfort our flesh. He wants us not only to enter in but to stay there.
  • Through the chastening realize the Lord is still dealing with you and loves you.
  • Make a choice to love the truth, no matter how much it hurts and testifies against you.
  • You’re not going to be profitable to preach the gospel or as a solider unless you’re choosing to love the truth.
  • He roots these things out of you, not only for you but for others as well.
  • Are we going to hang onto that thing that feels good and is going to kill us or are we going to hang onto Jesus?
  • We all have been given an opportunity to receive the truth even if we haven’t loved it. It’s not only an opportunity to love the truth but to be consumed with pleasing the Father.
  • Love the things He loves and the people He loves.
  • Love God, love one another.
