Subject:
- We all have times we need to refocus on the Lord. It is important that we seek counsel from our authorities in the Lord in these times.
- Seek help in times of need. Choose to set your affections on things above.
- Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- No matter where we are, if we belong to the Lord, and we love Him, His deliverance is close at hand.
- We have been given Gods word, His Spirit, and His grace. We have an advantage. But these things are only an advantage if we receive them and make use of them.
- God likes to work in situations that seem impossible to us. It gives Him a chance to work a miracle. He is able to prove himself and His power, and yet we can so often get in the way of that because we lose heart and lose faith and let fear take over. We take our eyes off Him and what He is able to do and look more at the situation that seems so overwhelming.
- God wants to establish Himself to you so you can know you can trust Him.
- We need to realize that we need Jesus and rest in that to overcome the impossible. Because God can make the impossible possible.
- We must learn to follow Gods instructions even when we don’t think they make sense. What we think does not matter. Fight against those carnal thoughts and trust God.
- The more desperate the situation, the greater Gods deliverance is manifest. Get on your knees and seek the Lord for His deliverance. Don’t try to “fix” the problem on your own.
- There is a purpose for the tribulations we go through. God is NOT being mean to us. They are necessary to point out where we fall short so we can grow and be strengthened.
- God is looking for a people after His own heart. Looking at why God chose David to replace Saul as king. Refer to 1st Samuel 13:14.
- It’s not about what we can accomplish. It’s about what God can accomplish through us and how much He is able!
