TFM-Hour-of-TruthSpeakers:

  • Paul Muller
  • Phillip Walthall
  • James Eutsler
  • Gail Stevens

Scriptures used:

  • Colossians 1:22-29
  • James 1:2-3
  • Romans 5:2-5

Subject:

  • Be zealous for the Lord.
  • Continue in the faith.  Turn not away from the hope of the gospel.
  • Gods faithful and reliable commitment to us is the power that allows us to have the patience to continue in the faith.
  • Patience is the process that teaches us to be reliable and faithful to God.
  • Patience will be learned by our faith being tried.  Faith must be tried to know where your trust in God stands.  The more you learn to trust God the more patience you will have.
  • We want to be eager to have the experience in Christ that we need to be helpful to others.  It’s not about us but about the need of Jesus for others.  It’s about Him!
  • Rejoice in tribulations.  Tribulations bring forth patience.  Tribulations are actually good for us.  That’s not how we usually see it, is it?
  • Faith in ANYTHING other than Jesus (i.e. government, money, people, self) is COMPLETELY useless.
  • Perfect faith doesn’t come around in one day. It is the prize that we must continue to strive for continuously.
  • JESUS IS OUR HOPE!
