Subject:

• Listening to someone whom God has put in authority, and doing what they instruct, is the same thing as believing the word of God that the Prophets of the Old Testament brought to Israel.
• Where is your faith?  This is what Jesus asked His disciples after Jesus rebuked the wind and the raging waters when they were on the ship, and the disciples thought they were going to perish in the storm. Jesus told them they were going to the other side of the lake.  Is your faith in Jesus when He tells you something is going to happen or do you fall into unbelief because of the circumstances around you. Regardless of what you see going on around you, put your faith in what Jesus says is going to happen.
• You need to know Jesus and who He is.  Believing that He walked the earth and knowing “of” him is not enough to develop the faith needed for salvation.
• The only freedom there really is, is the freedom found in Jesus.  Living by the ways of the world, living by the law and by mans laws is really nothing but bondage.  Jesus paid the debt of our sins on the cross, there is no reason for us to try and work for our freedom because we can’t.
• When you are reconnected with God through Jesus Christ and reconnected to the Holy Spirit you are a new creature and the old creature passes away.  Things look very different as you now see in the Spirit. All things have become new.
• If you’re in bondage to anything, Jesus is the answer to getting free of it.
• Jesus stood against evil to deliver those who knew they needed deliverance.
• Believers are to be ministers of reconciliation of man back to God through Jesus Christ.
• Jesus shines the light on the evil of man so we can be shed of it if one will choose to seek that light.  It will be uncomfortable to the flesh, but what’s more important, the flesh that will die anyway, or getting it right with God for the sake of the eternal soul.
• We really need to look at serving God as an honor knowing what He has done for us.
