1 Timothy 6:11 Sounds like the Fruit of the Spirit, whereas 1 Timothy 6:1-10 sound like the fruit of the flesh.
When we put our trash at the road every week we don’t mourn when the trash is removed. Why would we mourn the loss of the things of the flesh unless you still love those things of the flesh? Mourning and bewailing the removal of our trash is a ridiculous notion.
Call not the things of the Lord a burden.
Do you prefer the new man which is life, peace and joy? Do you prefer the old man which is death?
Walk in the spirit and ye shall not walk after the lusts of the flesh.
The same choice Adam had, we have, which is to choose the tree of life or the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Today is a good day for you to choose to repent before the Lord and choose no longer to live after the flesh.
Trust that His grace is sufficient for even you.
