Subject:
- Are you trying to walk in your own self worth? Are you walking in your unworthiness of the gospel? It’s not about how worthy you feel you are or aren’t, it’s about the worthiness of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.
- The flesh cannot save us, what we do or don’t do cannot save us. It’s about what Jesus Christ did, whether we believe it or not.
- Have you received the cloak Christ has given you?
- We separate ourselves from the love of Christ, either by trying to be good enough or finding ourselves so unworthy. Are we going to believe the Gospel?
- Nothing should keep us from standing in the Gospel of grace.
- In spite of how you are, God is good. Are you going to stand in that?
- We stand in the righteousness that He’s given us.
- Put off the old man, take no heed to him.
- Make a decision to not care about what happened then, just press toward the mark. Forget those things that hold us back, regardless of those things, stand because Jesus is good.
- Are you going to elect God as your shepherd, your provider, your life? Rely only on what He has done to change us.
- Is your confidence in what He did or what you do?
- If you’re in Christ Jesus, you’re on the road to receive the prize of the high calling IN Christ Jesus.
- Jesus laid His life down, took the humiliation of the cross (a death meant for criminals). The Father didn’t just lift Him up, He raised Him up on the third day.
- Choose humility and trust Him to be our avenger, reconciliation, our life; He will lift us in the last day.
- If you submit yourself to carry a lowliness of mind and consider others better than yourself you’ve got a ministry in Christ Jesus.
- The Lord can redeem your past, not because you’re good, but because He is.
- Remember you bring nothing to this game, the only thing you’ve got is standing in His righteousness but that’s all you need.
- Learn to walk in humility and lowliness of mind. Trust Him to show you how to do it. Ask Him to give you a heart similar to David’s (one that wants to please Him no matter the personal cost).
