Hour of Truth – 01/25/2015
The goodness of God is that we can partake in the grace and the mercy of our Heavenly Father but, that does not give us the green light to sin more, it is the chance to learn how to please Him. To learn how to be obedient to Him while we are here so we can be obedient in His Kingdom which is heaven.

We need to give our children the opportunity to rejoin with Jesus, by loving them, nurturing them and teaching them about Jesus.

Being a Christian isn’t showing up to service on Sundays, it’s being a Christian every minute of every day. If we’re sowing consistently to the flesh we’re going to reap those things we’ve sown. If we’re sowing the things of God, the fruit will be different. If you’re not seeing that fruit, you’re doing it wrong, you’re sowing to the flesh. If you want to see God’s love, power; obey, believe, have faith. We sew to the flesh all week and then on Sunday pray to the Lord for a crop failure for our sewing to the flesh all week.

Getting honest with the Lord, making choice who we’re going to follow. When there’s a purging, it’s of unbelief. Just like with sickness, the purging is ugly, but on the other side of it you’re better, if you choose to follow the doctor’s orders. Are we going to stick to the counsel of the Lord? Are we going to stick and choose to believe His word mixing it with faith? Are we going to do as He tells us to do? It’s my choice to hang onto Jesus and His word.

Do we use the things the Lord has freed us from to serve Him? Do we carry out what the Lord has done for us in faith? Diligently seek Him. His blood is applied to the doorpost of our hearts. Not MY will but YOUR will, make that decision to be about His will. Profession isn’t what you say, it’s what you do.

Subject: To please the Lord you must do His will and believe Him. Be fearful of not pleasing the Lord. The way we see the Lords mercy and grace is so often used to justify ourselves or to think we are special. Do you expect God to deliver the things you ask for when YOU want it or do you wait patiently for it in HIS time? God does not live to serve us nor does He live to justify us. Continue reading
