Subject:

  • Walking in the Spirit.
  • The three baptisms, Baptism of the blood, Water Baptism and Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit was promised and documented well in the Bible.
  • It is the gift God has given us to operate in God and represent Him and walk in Him.
  • God openly showed that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is for all through Cornelius.
  • Jesus was the fulfillment of God’s terms.
  • We need to hear and receive!
  • The purpose of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is that we might do what Jesus did, to walk as Jesus walked and to glorify the Lord.
  • It is not a matter of being good or feeling capable but  a matter of believing. The Spirit is what gives us that capability.
  • The Word of God is sharper than any two edged  sword.
  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given by the laying on of the hands of an apostle.
  • Paul understood fully the simplicity of the Gospel for Jew and Gentile alike and would not be moved from it.
He was zealously faithful in ministering the Gospel.
  • The faith has always been the same, the gospel unspecialized everyone.
  • In order to be a follower of Jesus you have to come out from under the Law of Moses.
  • Hope to the end for the grace to be brought unto you, we can’t earn it!  Jesus says no, my sacrifice is sufficient!
  • We actually have to be able to believe the Word of God.
  • It is a struggle to walk simply because we believe God.
  • Our own understanding can interfere with taking God at His word but we can over come that.
  • The Holy Spirit is the agent that transforms us in to the body of Christ.
  • There is no Jew or Gentile in the body of Christ, in Him we are all one saved by the same blood and the same gospel. We are equal there is no respecter of persons in God.
  • The purpose of John was to manifest who the Son of God was and that was Jesus of course.
  • Jesus is the agent to baptize in the Holy Spirit.
  • Texas Service from 9/29/2013 as mentioned during this Bible Study.
  • We are to baptize in the name of Jesus, that is God’s name.
  • It is important for us to do our part and in order to do our part we need to know the Word.
