Subject:

  • Olympians practice for many hours daily, it is all they want to do and they can’t get enough.   They don’t do only what is asked of them to be ready.
  • Practice: frequent or customary actions for instruction or discipline.   Practice leads to habit (and second nature).   What do we practice in our lives?   Practice leads to habit and habits are not easy to break.   Practice the things of God.
  • Thousands of Christians are totally ignorant as to the power of God that they can walk in.
  • Many Old and New Testament people walked with the Lord, so should we.   Christ promised that all  believers should have signs following them and do the works that Jesus did.   God’s promises to every believer are for us today – He is the same yesterday, today, forever. You need to know that everything God promised is for you, if you will accept the truth as you can plainly read it in scripture you can receive these promises and move forward in Him and practice those things which He did.
  • Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all your needs will be added unto you.
  • How do we seek His righteousness and what is His righteousness?  The problem is our understanding of His righteousness and how to seek His righteousness.
  • I marvel, am amazed, I don’t understand how you have allowed yourself to be taken out of the Grace, to some other gospel, the gospel with perversion added to it, and you’ve bought it.
  • It is like giving a watered down tetanus shot, how good is the tetanus shot?  It is not any good, it is perverted.  In order for it to work you need 100% of it.
  • If you are saved it is because you heard the Gospel, the Gospel is simple!   Jesus Christ came to lay down His life and to give His blood so we would be made right with God,  because without that you are not right.
  • Adam was told not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil but he did and found himself naked.  God did not create anything which is not clothed.  He clothed Adam and Eve in righteousness, a righteousness similar to God’s but not God’s,  Adam was clothed in man’s righteousness.   When Adam ate of the tree he found himself naked so he covered himself with a fig leaf of the earth.
  • God showed Adam another way, a better sacrifice.  The animal came from God, the fig leaf came from the earth. Adam came from the earth therefore Adam chose to cover himself with himself(earth – the fig leaf came from the earth.) Just to make sure Adam understood it God cursed the earth, that is our curse.  But God took something different and he showed a different way. When you hear the Gospel and understand that Jesus died and shed his perfect blood without sin as a free gift to you so that you can be in right standing with God, when you hear that Gospel and can receive that Gospel then you are saved, and you’re saved if you will continue in that.
  • The Galatians did not continue in it and they received a perverted gospel and began to justify themselves by what they did or did not do.
  • The key to Matthew – Seek ye first the righteousness of God.   You’ve got to turn loose any sense of righteousness you have in yourselves, shed yourself of it, and stand firmly and only in the righteousness of God which is Jesus.  And when you stand in that blood of Jesus and you stand in that grace of Jesus, then you are one with Jesus, which if you are one with Jesus then you are one with God. It does not make you God but it makes you one with God.
  • And as one with God then you can do the works that Jesus did and far greater works. Then you can look Satan dead in the face and say you sorry sucker you will burn in hell, you know you will burn in hell but I’m not going to join you, and you can take your lies, your sickness and all the garbage you want to lay down on people to hell with you because I‘m going to have no part of it.
  • When you seek first the kingdom of God you are recognizing the fact that in yourself you have no righteousness but you receive freely by faith God’s Grace through Jesus Christ and then you walk in it. If you practice walking in it long enough it will become a habit, it will become something you do by nature because you are taking on the nature of Christ.  You can only take on the nature of Christ by practicing the nature of Christ.
  • Practicing the nature of Christ is to believe Him and acting as though you do. If you believe the Gospel then you can say I can do all things in Christ Jesus and through Christ Jesus and by Christ Jesus and with Christ Jesus who is my strength, who is my power, who is my might, he is my Savior.
  • I can’t love you unless I practice it through Jesus Christ.
  • It is only by living in that truth that I can love, that I can forgive, that I can serve, that I can walk.
